We all need a place to stash our stuff. The world is full of grown-ups carting around purses, laptop holders and NPR bags, so it's only natural for the small folk in our lives to take notice...and start demanding bags of their own. Ginger Warden of Golly G Designs understands this sort of thing. She also knows kids have some very specific design criteria - like the shoulder strap has to be sized just right so the bag isn't knocking down around their ankles; and they want pictures that mean something - like pets or toys or food - because, let's face it, if you can't cuddle with it, play with it or eat it at this age it's just not that interesting. So Ginger stitched up some sturdy toddler-sized totes of textured unbleached cotton and hand-embroidered them with good things like smiling fruit, miniature robots and bubbling goldfish. All that's left to decide is how many juice boxes and Cheerios containers can be crammed inside. Body of bag = 9" x 9"; straps = 14 inches.
