We've spent the last few years working with a group of parents to found a local charter school that opened its doors in fall 2009. One of the perks of the job was helping outfit the kindergarten classrooms with objects that would create a warm, homey and welcoming environment for children. When it came to choosing a dollhouse we had a special set of requirements: We wanted something big enough to accommodate multiple children; something with clean, uncluttered lines that would not detract from the calm of the room; something sturdy enough to withstand a few knocks and a lot of love, and something that would act as an all-around "kid magnet".
