At a loss for a cute yet practical child's birthday gift, Jessi Harris took some scraps of vintage corduroy and stitched together some pint-sized backpacks for friends' children. They were an instant hit and soon savvy moms - who know a good thing when they see it - started requesting more. Jessi stepped up the sewing and a business was born. Today Bratsacks Babyware continues to use recycled, vintage and salvaged fabrics to create adorable earth-friendly bags for kids. Our hand-sewn monkey pack is made of soft corduroy in bright saturated colors and comes fully lined with both drawstring and Velcro closures. It is a perfect size for toddlers but can double as a small day or overnight pack for children up to about age 10. Body size = ~ 9" x 11"; sides =2.5"; straps = 16" long.
